Nettie’s House of Spaghetti Menu: What to Order
First time at Nettie’s House of Spaghetti? Leslie’s must-order current-menu picks are the fried mushrooms, whipped buttermilk ricotta, house salad, OG vinegar chicken and casarecce cacio pepe.
Nettie’s menu changes, so this guide combines Leslie’s firsthand favorites with current menu status checked in October 2026. You’ll find Nettie’s at 5119 Asbury Ave., Tinton Falls, New Jersey. Check the official menu before your visit.
Nettie’s Appetizers and Sides
Fried Mushrooms: Technically a side, but a must-order. The current menu pairs fried hen of the woods and shiitake mushrooms with za’atar and lemon. It’s a dish we never skip when dining at Nettie’s House of Spaghetti.
Whipped Buttermilk Ricotta: Creamy, made in-house daily, and perfect for spreading on the warm bread they bring to the table. If you’re only getting one starter, make it this one—it’s a favorite.

House Salad: A generous iceberg salad with roasted pepper, red onion, olives, bread, celery, carrot, cucumber, pepperoncini, parsley, oregano and artichoke hearts in red-wine vinaigrette. It’s the refreshing bite to order before pasta.

Nettie’s Main Dishes
Nettie’s OG Vinegar Chicken: Not pasta, but definitely worth a mention. The current version combines free-range organic chicken, roasted poblano and red pepper, basil and balsamic sugo. The tangy, savory balance made it a standout among Nettie’s non-pasta options.

A note on Sunday Gravy: Leslie loved Nettie’s former Sunday Gravy, but it does not appear on the current official menu. If you want a current red-sauce pasta, look for Spaghetti & Meat Sauce with beef-and-pork ragù, red sauce and pecorino. It is not the same dish, so ask your server what is available that night.
Casarecce Cacio Pepe: I know it’s a bold claim, but Nettie’s version might be the best I’ve ever had. The current menu describes it with 24-month Parmesan, cracked pepper and butter, creating an incredibly silky texture and balanced flavor.
